Visit Calderdrift Scout Campsite for a fun and exciting camping experience or visit the site for an activity, the day or an evening. Calderdrift welcomes all from many youth organisations or youth groups. We can offer adventurous activities, team building activities or just a safe space in an outdoor environment to bring your group. We can also sometimes supply adults to run activities (subject to your organisation’s safety requirements) or we can teach you how to run our activities – most don’t require any special qualifications to operate, just some in-house training.
We also offer the site for large events that you want to hold, just get touch with our booking secretary to discuss your requirements. We have a mixture of other facilities onsite which can make your stay easier from our kitchen shelters to accessible toilets.
Lots of young people and their leaders use our facilities to work towards their awards or to hold campfires and take part in activities, and we are always happy to see them.
