Jubilee Venture provides a unique accomodation avalable to hire at Calderdrift. After sailing on the canals and rivers of Yorkshire since the 1977 Queen’s Silver Jubilee when the boat was purchased by Wakefield Scouts, Jubilee Venture has now taken up a new role as accomodation at Calderdrift for our young people to get the experience of staying on a boat without the need to sail.
Jubilee Venture is able to accomodate 10 members sleeping inside the boat. There are 8 bunks in the front of the boat and 2 bunks in the rear of the boat.
Jubilee Venture includes a kitchen and the front sleeping area that transforms in to a dining area. The kitchen comes with cooking and eating equipment for up to 30 campers. There is also a bathroom which has a toilet for night time use.
There is space outside Jubilee Venture for the rest of your Group to camp.
