Calderdrift Scout Campsite is available for use by Scout Groups at any time during the day, evening or overnight and by any other Youth organisation or school.
Calderdrift Scout Campsite is spread over approximately 15 acres in the South West countryside of Wakefield on a stepped, hillside site with access tracks. There are large flat grassy areas for camping some which are split into smaller camping sites and the campsite is surrounded by many trees and shrubs, which support numerous wildlife species who live at Calderdrift Scout Campsite. All sites are within easy each of a fresh water supply and not a far walk to the central toilets which include hot running water.
Calderdrift Scout Campsite has many activities to help you to pass your time in your programme. We have a mixture of adventurous activities, self run activities or traditional Scouting activities for you to take part in or the campsite is suitable for you to arrange and run your own activities and complete your own badgework.
Calderdrift Scout Campsite is suitable for you to hold anything from a Patrol camp upto a full district camp. We can also cater for multiple Groups camping or visiting at the same time.
